Aug 9, 2011 · Does any one knows the part number for the stock unit (2006 Audi A6) or if there is an upgrade MMI control unit that I can directly swap in for another year. I have searched however I mainly find how to remove and clean vs the part number and possible update. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. 10-18-2013 07:33 AM #2.

Hi all, I have a 2006 A6 Avant - it has bluetooth functionality (if your aerial is a shark fin then I believe generally you will have bluetooth). But this will only allow you to connect your phone to make calls, however, not play music. With mine, I had a 6 CD changer in the glove box.

Jan 31, 2012 · Replaced the battery in my '06 A6 Avant at the 5 year mark. Took it to Wal-Mart. Paid $77 for new battery. Installation was included. The battery is heavy enough that I was happy to let them do it. After installation the battery charge indicator on the MMI screen read 20%. After 10 minutes of driving it read 100% and still does.
